Subject: "Where is Waldo" - "Where is the Boat Ramp?"
By now we all know where Waldo is, but after going on six years now, we surely do not know where the Bush Point Boat Launch Ramp is or if it will ever be built.
It's not because there is no money for it! The money is there and has been for years. (By the way, does this money that belongs to boaters generate interes while it sits in the bank or wherever it is being held?) "I.A.C. Boating Facilities Program Plan, $750,000.00 Allocated in 1996."
Who is to blame for this scandal? The Port of South Whidbey Commission? The Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife? Our elected representatives in Olympia not looking out for us? What is the problem? Tell us and we will work to fix it. We are tired of all the excuses from Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife engineers who are responsible for building the facility.
Enough is enough! The fisherpersons on Whidbey Island want action and no more excuses!
